I wrote this post over two years ago. In it, I look back at past world championship winners and how they end up fairing in the Olympic All-Around. All signs pointed to...well bad news for Simone! I was worried that she wouldn't be able to hold her dominance all the way until Rio but guess what, she did! And then some.
I suppose I was wrong, but I'm glad that I was.
